You will join our amazing Community Service team in Cross Hands. This is a casual role working as and when required to cover for another support worker when they are away - they currently provide support on a Thursday for 5 hours.
We are offering an hourly rate from £12.50 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/rises. The person you will support has a farming background and is now visually impaired. This is not a regular role; the successful candidate will join the team to provide consistent support for the client when the current worker is unable to. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a kind, respectful approach to supporting individuals in their home environment. They will be keen to support with a variety of community tasks. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who values making a positive impact on someone’s life.
For genuine occupational reasons, we are looking to appoint a male candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9). To be considered for this role, we require you to have a Full UK License with use of your own vehicle and business insurance.

A full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle are essential, as well being willing to drive the resident's vehicle. Business Car Insurance is essential. Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments is beneficial. Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
