Could you be the person who helps someone stay active, connected and confident in their own community? Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We currently have flexible Communicator Guide opportunities across South Wales, ideal if you're looking for part-time hours that fit around studies or other work, while doing something meaningful with your time.
In New Inn, Pontypool, we're looking for someone for 3 hours a week. This role is open to female applicants only, as a Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. BSL is essential.
In Bridgend (CF31), we're looking for someone for 12 hours a week, travelling throughout the county borough. BSL is desirable but not essential, so this is a great opportunity even if you're still building your signing skills.
In Treorchy (CF42) and Pontypridd (CF37), we're looking for someone for 8 hours a week. BSL Level 2 or above is essential.
No previous experience is necessary for most of these roles. Full training is provided, so if you're patient, reliable, and want to make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
