You will join our amazing Community Service team in Whiltland, Carmarthenshire. This is a permanent role working 10 hours per week - currently on a Tuesday and Thursday, 10am-3pm (will be discussed further at interview).

We are offering an hourly rate from £12.50 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/rises. You will be supporting with 1:1 community work for a deafblind gentleman with sensory loss; he has hearing and vision difficulties as well as mobility difficulties. He is keen to remain as independent as possible and enjoys getting out in the community. His hobbies include gardening and visiting the garden centre, visiting the shops and going to bowls.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a kind, respectful approach to supporting individuals in their home environment. They will be keen to support the gentleman with a variety of community tasks. BSL proficiency is a requirement for this role. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who values making a positive impact on someone’s life.
