Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We have an opportunity to join our well-established Day Centre Service as a Support Worker at Meadowbank Resource Centre in Carrickfergus. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave, working 30 hours per week: Monday to Thursday, 8:15am–3:45pm, paying £13.00 per hour. The service runs Monday to Friday, so you won't need to work weekends; ideal if you're looking for a good work-life balance in the care sector. The service also benefits from four weeks of fixed leave across the year, covering Easter, July, and the Christmas and New Year period.

You'll be supporting people with a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities, to take part in the activities they love; whether that's sports, cooking, trips to the theatre, or heading out into the community. No two days will be the same. Please note: a full driving licence is essential for this role.
