You will join our wonderful Residential Team in Kingstanding, Birmingham supporting five people in a home who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loses and learning disabilities. Your duties can include tasks such as assisting with hoisting, taking individuals to College and activities outside of the home and personal care.
This is a casual role withflexible shift patterns every week p aying 13/hr.
You do not require prior experience as full training will be provided when you start this role . However, prior experience of working with challenging behaviour is desirable.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Positive, with a can-do attitude
- Caring, patient, and empathetic
- Flexible and comfortable working across a varied shift pattern
- Willing to attend training and develop in their role
This role might include supporting people with:
- Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
- Personal care and hygiene
- Finances and medication
- Going into the community for activities, shopping, and social events
