We’re looking for two HR advisors to join our People Team, supporting the Head of HR business partnering, HR business partners and HR manager to deliver high-impact, strategic people partnerships across Sense. As a HR Advisor, you will be a member of the HR business partnering and advice team where you will autonomously manage end-to-end employee relations casework for your business areas, ensuring the achievement of organisational KPIs for people management issues. You will actively support the implementation of people policies and procedures. Work with people team colleagues to ensure managers and employees are fully supported to deal with people matters in their team.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the HR advice team aims and objectives in line with the people team strategy and work with HR business partnering team colleagues in a functional team.
- Deliver successful end to end management of complex casework including investigations, sickness, disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance and appeals.
- Effectively engage and coach managers to reduce caseload by early interventions and provide pragmatic business focused HR solutions and recommendations.
- Work flexibly with line manager and other HR business partnering colleagues to deliver consistent and clear advice based on a framework of decision making.
- Support HR business partnering team by sharing insights and information on casework in their areas.
- Assist the HR business partnering team with the administration/co-ordination of TUPE and organisational change.
About you
- CIPD level 5 qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience in HR, particularly in employee relations and case management.
- Proven up to date knowledge of case law, employment law and best practice.
- Proactive partnering and coaching managers.
- Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders effectively.
- Reviewing policies and procedures and delivering training/coaching.
- Provided administrative support on TUPE and organisational change.
- Experience of working in the charity, not-for-profit, or social care sector.
- Experience of delivering people projects or acting as a subject matter expert in a specialist HR area.
