Are you dedicated to keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming? We are looking for a proactive and reliable Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at TouchBase Fife and housing support services, located in Kirkcaldy & Glenrothes. This permanent role offers 30 hours per week.
About the role
As a valued team member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for the people we support and our colleagues. This role involves managing cleaning equipment responsibly and ensuring excellent hygiene standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in designated areas to create a safe and comfortable environment.
• Operate and manage cleaning equipment, chemicals, and materials in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Undertake specific cleaning duties as per the cleaning schedule.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to spillages and urgent cleaning needs.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and perform additional tasks as directed by line managers for each service.
Working Hours:
You would cover 2 sites, one located in Glenrothes for housing support service and a day support service in Kirkcaldy. Timings in the Glenrothes service can be flexible and the timings in Kirkcaldy would be Monday-Friday 4pm-6pm.
About You
• Prior experience in cleaning services or a similar role is desirable.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and COSHH procedures.
• Skilled in safe manual handling techniques and safety standards.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work on public holidays and during events that may require extra cleaning support.
