About the Role
Lead and support a dedicated team delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care for school‑aged children and young people with complex needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, epilepsy, and communication or sensory needs. Working directly on shift, create a safe, nurturing and fun environment through engaging activities such as sensory play, arts and crafts, and creative sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example to ensure high‑quality, individualised support
- Supervise, coach and develop staff on shift
- Oversee support plans, rotas, records and compliance
- Work closely with families to deliver flexible, person‑centred care
- Support the delivery of stimulating, creative activities
Hours
20 hours per week with a mix of afternoons, evenings and weekends, including approximately 2 weekends in every 4.
About You
- Significant experience supporting people with complex needs
- SVQ Social Services & Health Care SCQF Level 6 or above (essential), with willingness to work towards Level 7
- Confident leader with strong communication, IT and organisational skills
- Commitment to person‑centred practice and staff development
- Flexible to work varied shifts
