We are recruiting a Female Support Worker to join our Mosspark Service, recently graded Excellent by the Care Inspectorate for outstanding person-centred care. You will be part of a small, supportive team, providing 1:1 support to two women (aged 39-50) who are deafblind with complex needs, including epilepsy and mobility challenges. This role is all about building trusting relationships and supporting individuals to live happy, meaningful lives at home and in the community.
What you will do:
- Provide personalised support with personal care, medication, meals, housework and finances
- Encourage independence, confidence and choice
- Support social activities such as shopping, cinema trips, discos and holidays
- Maintain accurate daily records
- Work closely with colleagues, families and professionals
Shift pattern:
- 35 hours per week across 7 days
- Early: 07:30-14:30 | Late: 14:30-21:30
- Weekend work required
- Service operates 24/7, 365 days a year
About you:
- Compassionate, patient and reliable
- Positive attitude with good teamwork and communication skills
- Organised, proactive and eager to learn
- Experience welcome, but not essential - full training provided
