About the service
Based in Dundee, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Arts Tutor to develop and deliver engaging visual and tactile arts activities for the individuals we support. The successful candidate will bring their expertise in leading arts sessions for both individuals and groups, ensuring that all activities are accessible and tailored to meet the diverse needs of participants. This is a temporary position for 12 months offering 18.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Design and deliver a wide range of arts activities, participate in regular supervision and training, and continuously develop your skills and practice.
- Individuals We Support: Offer arts as a medium for enhancing communication, self-expression, confidence, and well-being. Adapt activities to meet individual sensory, physical, and learning needs.
- Administrative: Provide written and photographic evidence of progress, assist with feedback, maintain registers, and ensure health and safety standards are met.
- General: Collaborate with families, staff, volunteers, and external agencies, always working in line with our organisational values.
About you
We are looking for an Arts Tutor who is passionate, adaptable, and skilled at creating accessible and engaging arts activities for individuals with sensory and complex disabilities.
