Sense Scotland is seeking 2 Female Support Workers to join our friendly Blantyre Housing Support team, supporting individuals to live fulfilling, happy lives and achieve their personal goals.

About the role

You'll support two sociable women with complex needs, including physical disabilities and communication challenges, to enjoy meaningful days at home and in the community. Activities range from karaoke, discos and lunch outings to storytelling, physio sessions, pamper nights and day trips. This is a varied, people‑focused role where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities

  • One‑to‑one support with personal care, meals, medication, household tasks and money management
  • Supporting friendships, social activities and independence
  • Recording daily notes and working closely with families and colleagues
  • Lone working in the community and at home

Shift patterns

  • 24/7 service with a planned rota including early shifts (approx. 7:30am–3:00pm)
  • Late shifts (approx. 2:30pm–10:00pm)
  • Wakened night shifts (9:45pm–7:45am)
  • Longer day shifts (8:00am–10:00pm)

Essential requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (manual or automatic) and ability to drive a work vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
