About the service:

We are a small, friendly support service providing 24-hour care and support to four adults with complex needs, living together in their own shared accommodation in Auchtermuchty. Our service is built around person-centred support, promoting dignity, choice, independence, and inclusion in everyday life. Each individual we support has unique needs, which may include learning disabilities, autism, physical health needs, and behaviours that require thoughtful, skilled, and compassionate support. We work closely as a team to create a safe stable homely environment, enabling people to live fulfilling lives within their community.

Support is tailored to each person and may include:

  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Promoting independence and life skills
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
  • Medication support (where trained)
  • Encouraging social activities and community access
  • Working in partnership with families and professionals

As a small service, we pride ourselves on our strong team relationships, consistent staffing, and high standards of care. We are looking for Support Workers who share our values, are reliable and patient, and are committed to making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Hours: 37 hours per week. Shifts extend to early and late shifts, sleepover and night shift, weekends and public holidays via a supportive team rota.

Location: Auchtermuchty is a small historic town in Fife Scotland, set amid gentle rolling countryside about 9 miles north of Glenrothes close to Cupar. Today Auchtermuchty is a quiet but thriving local community with a strong local identity and friendly atmosphere. The surrounding Fife countryside of fields, woodland and walking paths gives the area a peaceful, scenic charm.
