SENse Learning offers SEND Tutor positions to provide one‑to‑one support for children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs. Tutors can work in‑person, online, or hybrid, delivering tutoring and mentoring tailored to the individual student’s needs, EHCP and risk assessment.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
- Understanding of child‑centred, holistic work and creative curriculum design.
- Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references. DBS can be facilitated by SENse Learning if needed.
- Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote or online roles.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
- Develop strong relationships with children and young people who have a range of needs.
- Provide in‑person, online/remote, and hybrid support to children, teenagers and young people with SEMH and SEND, including MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs.
- Support pupils and students from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate), referred by local authorities and schools.
- Plan and deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to the young person’s needs, EHCP and risk assessment.
- Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
Self‑employed tutor/teacher. Not a PAYE position. We provide guidance on registering as self‑employed if you are not registered already.
