SensationALL is a well-established and highly regarded Scottish charity supporting children, young people, adults, and families living with neurodiversity and additional support needs. Through a wide range of inclusive services, activities, and therapeutic support, the organisation creates opportunities for individuals and families to connect, thrive, and feel valued within their communities. The charity is now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation into its next phase of development and growth. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational delivery, financial sustainability, and overall impact of SensationALL. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will provide strong, visible, and values-led leadership across the organisation, ensuring SensationALL continues to deliver high-quality, person-centred services while maintaining a strong culture of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the charity, including strategic planning, governance, financial management, facilities oversight, health and safety, and human resources.
- Lead and support a committed team, ensuring the organisation operates effectively, remains compliant with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, and continues to develop in a sustainable and financially secure way.
- Drive income generation and financial sustainability, working closely with the fundraising team and external partners to develop and deliver income generation strategies, support fundraising initiatives and events, and build strong relationships with funders, businesses, community stakeholders, and public sector partners.
- Act as a key ambassador for SensationALL, representing the charity across a range of meetings, events, and networking opportunities to raise awareness, strengthen partnerships, and champion the organisation's mission.
- Lead the development and implementation of the charity's long-term strategic and operational plans, shaping the future direction of SensationALL while ensuring services remain responsive to the needs of the individuals and families it supports.
- Oversee organisational risk management, facilities management, safeguarding responsibilities, and the continued development of policies, systems, and operational processes.
Qualifications
- Experienced and compassionate leader with a strong track record in organisational management, strategic development, financial oversight, and people leadership.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build meaningful relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and inspire confidence both internally and externally.
- Leadership experience within the third sector, public sector, healthcare, education, social care, or a similarly values-driven environment.
- Highly organised, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing a diverse operational workload in a fast-paced setting.
