Working alongside world leading HVOR customers, Sensata is creating TPMS products that improve the performance, reliability, and cost of this safety critical system - and the next generation of trucks, buses, and stationary storage systems that use them.

The Program Manager is responsible for the development and execution of a portfolio of projects and programs for the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the program is completed on time and within budget and also act as a liaison between the individuals working on the program and key stakeholders.

General Responsibilities
  • Leads multiple project activities throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.
  • Apply change, risk and resource management.
  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues.
  • Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction and team member performance.
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Analysing program risk.
Experience / Qualifications
  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
  • Lead a multi-functional global team in defining a system and product roadmap, in line with customer and business priorities.
  • Lead all aspects in defining a business case for new opportunities.
  • Ability to define & implement product cost roadmap in line with the company’s priorities.
  • Lead specific Change Management projects in line with customer and company requirements.
  • Customer facing project management.
  • Managing new technology developments – in line with how the heavy vehicle industry is changing.
Essential Criteria:
  • At least 3+ years' experience in Project and/or Programme Management.
Desirable Criteria:
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in Project and/or Programme Management.
  • Experience in working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience leading Hardware, software and system development projects.
  • It would be desirable that you have a background in an Automotive or fast paced technology development environment.
  • It would be desirable that you have prior knowledge of Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements for the Automotive industry.
