Overview
The Manufacturing Technician performs functions associated with all productions finished products, including operations, equipment, processes, and training. Collects and evaluates operational data to ensure process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Ensures that daily activities for production are made correctly.
- Maintains process development for existing projects.
- Optimizes process parameters for auxiliary equipment, controls of process and quality.
- Troubleshoots, contains and resolves manufacturing issues related to raw material, process, tooling and spare part issues.
- Leads training sessions to operators on the process of production lines.
- Maintains parameters through the implementation of proposed solutions and improvements of the process in order to promote a low cost of the product.
- Responsible for process improvements and troubleshooting non-standard events on the production line.
Experience / Qualifications
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
