The role - why it exists & why it’s interesting
We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to cover maternity leave within our SaaS marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a high-impact, generalist role responsible for owning and driving our campaign engine end-to-end.
You’ll lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple concurrent campaigns across channels, setting direction, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring delivery at pace. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment and can independently turn ideas into high-quality, measurable campaigns.
You’ll act as the central orchestrator for marketing activity, while also contributing directly to execution, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. This is a 12 month contract.
What you'll be doing
- Own and drive the end-to-end marketing campaign calendar across multiple simultaneous workstreams, ensuring clear prioritisation and on-time delivery
- Develop campaign concepts, messaging, and creative direction in collaboration with the Head of Marketing
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams and external partners (agencies, freelancers), ensuring alignment, clarity, and momentum
- Take hands-on ownership of key campaign elements (e.g. content, email, landing pages, paid campaigns), not just oversight
- Lead or support event marketing as part of wider campaigns, including logistics, promotion, and execution
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation
- Clearly communicate campaign plans, requirements, and progress to stakeholders across the business
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success to ensure campaigns align with broader business goals
- Proactively identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and suggest improvements to campaign strategy and execution
What you'll bring
- 5+ years’ experience in a hands-on, generalist marketing role in B2B SaaS or tech
- Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple campaigns simultaneously across channels
- Strong campaign ownership mindset — able to take ideas from concept through to execution and optimisation
- Experience coordinating across teams, agencies, and freelancers to deliver complex projects
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal structure
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to track performance, interpret data, and act on insights
- Confident communicator who can clearly articulate campaign needs and influence stakeholders
- Experience across multiple marketing channels (email, content, paid, social, events)
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to drive work forward independently
- Willingness to challenge ideas constructively and contribute creative, differentiated thinking
Desirable
- Experience in a startup, scale-up, or high-growth environment
- Hands-on experience with paid media platforms (e.g. Google Ads, social ads)
- Copywriting or content production experience
- Experience working in construction technology
- Previous experience in a cover or interim marketing role
- Familiarity with event coordination or working alongside event specialists
What we'll bring
- When Sensat succeeds, so will you, with significant equity share options
- Take a break using your 30 days of annual leave (in addition to bank holidays)
- A flexible working environment
- Continue learning every day through your £500 personal development fund
- Regular social events!
- We’ve got your back, be it immediate access to mental health support through Spill or enhanced Family Leave for those welcoming a new arrival, we support you throughout your journey here.
- We care about our people and want to make essential healthcare accessible and affordable.
- Pension: with Penfold. Employer contribution of 3%, employee contribution set at 5% but can be increased (relief at source or salary sacrifice).
- Access to the benefits of our Fora office membership, including access to their gyms and fitness classes, events and dog friendly office
- Other benefits including cycle to work scheme, season ticket loans, eye-care vouchers, payroll giving
At this time, we are only able to accept applications from those who have a right to work in the United Kingdom. Our office is in Old Street, London.
