Chalk Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Mentor to join a welcoming school in Leasowe. This is a long‑term, full‑time role supporting young people to thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group mentoring to pupils who need additional support.
- Encourage positive behaviour and act as a role model.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students.
- Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support pupil progress.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, residential, or similar).
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A positive, resilient attitude and the passion to make a real difference.
- Ability to commit to full‑time hours: Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑4:00pm.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
