About the Role

You will work closely with a small group of pupils in a nurture-style setting, supporting emotional regulation, behaviour and social development. The role involves delivering personalised interventions, maintaining clear routines and using trauma-informed approaches to support positive behaviour. You will work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to create a safe, predictable environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Support 2-3 pupils with ASD, ADHD and emotional needs, providing consistent, calm and structured support to help them regulate emotions and engage with learning.
  • Deliver personalised interventions and maintain clear routines.
  • Utilise trauma-informed approaches to support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create a safe, predictable environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
