We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward‑thinking school in Wolverhampton, working with students across Key Stage 3 & 4 who have additional learning, behavioural, and emotional needs.

Role Details

  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Contract: Full‑time, Permanent
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Setting: On‑site, SEN & Alternative Provision

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.
  • Support pupils with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs.
  • Create a safe, positive, and structured learning environment.
  • Encourage student progress, wellbeing, and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams.
  • Promote positive behaviour and strong student relationships.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience or strong interest in SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to teaching.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Valid enhanced DBS check.
