Daily supply teaching assistant opportunities across a variety of school settings. Flexible roles for SEND teaching assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact on pupils with special educational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
  • Promote inclusive practice and encourage pupil independence
  • Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required
  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Monitor progress and contribute to pupil assessments and reviews

Qualifications

  • Recent experience supporting children or young people with SEND in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of a range of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
  • Patient, adaptable and confident when working with pupils with complex needs
  • Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Compensation

Salary depends on experience and is paid weekly through PAYE.
