Behaviour Mentors play a vital role in supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development while working closely with teachers and support staff.
Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural or emotional needs
- Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Work closely with pastoral teams to monitor and report progress
- Build positive relationships with students to support their wellbeing and learning
- Have experience working with children or young people in schools, youth work, or care
- Be confident managing challenging behaviour
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be reliable, professional, and adaptable
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
