A supportive and inclusive primary school in Urmston is seeking a passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their dedicated SEN unit from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT looking to develop their experience within a specialist SEN setting, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex learning needs in a nurturing and well‑resourced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching and supporting pupils within the school's SEN provision
  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Supporting children with ASD, communication needs, and complex learning difficulties
  • Working closely with experienced SEN staff, teaching assistants, and external professionals
  • Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Encouraging pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

Salary: £160-£200 per day
