A supportive and inclusive primary school in Trafford is looking to appoint an experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

Responsibilities

  • Providing tailored support to pupils with communication and interaction needs
  • Supporting children with social development and emotional regulation
  • Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups throughout the school day
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
  • Using positive behaviour strategies and structured routines to support learning
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and social engagement

Qualifications

  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Has previous SEN experience within a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of communication and social needs, including ASD
