Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Help implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) where required
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH) is highly desirable
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential with the right experience
