A specialist independent school in the Tonbridge area is seeking caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join its growing SEMH provision. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to build a rewarding career supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a nurturing and therapeutic educational environment. The school supports pupils aged approximately 8-18 with SEMH needs, alongside additional needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and communication difficulties, and associated learning needs. The setting is recognised for its small class sizes, strong pastoral support and personalised approach to education. We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a difference both inside and outside the classroom. You will work closely with teachers, pastoral teams and therapists to support pupils academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
