Year 5 Teaching Assistant – Part-Time (Thursday & Friday)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school team in Great Bookham.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils at a key stage in their education, working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. You will play a vital part in supporting pupils both academically and socially, helping them to reach their full potential and thrive.
- Location: Great Bookham, Surrey
- Contract: Long-term temporary position
- Days: Thursday and Friday (term time only)
- Hours: 08:30-15:30
- Pay: £84.05-£90 / Day (Inclusive of 12.07% Holiday Pay)
About the Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning.
- Assist with classroom management and the preparation of resources.
- Provide pastoral support to pupils, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
- Be a positive role model and contribute to a warm, inclusive school environment.

- Previous experience working with primary-aged children (ideally Key Stage 2).

- DBS on the Update Service.
- Driving Licence and access to a car.
