Prospero Teaching are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Ipswich starting ASAP. The successful candidate will be working in a specialist class providing close support to children with complex special educational needs.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

  • Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Contract or position start date: ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing booking
  • Contract type: Long-Term
  • Full-time/part-time: Full-time
  • Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate £95 per day
  • Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous SEN TA experience
  • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
