Prospero Teaching are currently seeking passionate and proactive teaching assistants with sports coaching backgrounds to join a specialist SEMH provision in Manchester, on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Building positive relationships with pupils, encouraging progress and development
- Supporting pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, incorporating sports, to encourage engagement
- Developing an understanding of the different needs and learning styles of different pupils in the classroom
Position Details
- Location: Manchester
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full-Time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £108.00 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Long-Term, Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications
- Experience within a SEMH provision is highly desired
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- A strong background in sports and coaching is required
- A resilient, proactive and positive nature
Eligibility
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
