Overview
SEN Teaching Assistant – Propsero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker to support children in an SEN school in Bromley. The school is for children aged KS3 with a wide range of learning difficulties, from Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) to Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). Some pupils have complex medical needs. The role may involve 1:1 support or work within small groups, and personal care may be involved. The school is located in Bromley and is a short walk from public transport.
The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have experience in a similar role. Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- 6 months experience in the UK
- Previous experience in a similar setting
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent and above is preferable
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years
