The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support
  • Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to maintain a calm and safe learning environment
  • Encourage positive engagement in learning and structured daily routines
  • Build trusting relationships that help pupils regulate emotions and develop resilience
  • Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored, meaningful learning activities
  • Promote emotional wellbeing, confidence and positive behaviour

About You

  • We're looking for someone who is confident managing challenging behaviours in a professional, measured way
  • Remains calm, patient and consistent during heightened situations
  • Has experience in SEN environments or brings transferable skills from youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring or alternative provision
  • Is resilient, reliable and genuinely motivated to help young people progress

Contract Details

  • Temporary - Long Term
  • Full & Part time hours available
  • Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm
  • Pay - £14+ (depending on experience)
  • Start Date - ASAP
