A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a well-supported specialist provision in Ruislip on a full time basis from September for the new academic year. You will be working alongside experienced and supportive SEND Teaching Assistants within the classroom, allowing you to focus on delivering high quality teaching and tailored support to pupils with additional needs.
The Role
- Full time SEND Teacher within a specialist provision
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, and complex needs
- Working closely with SEND TAs, SENCo, and external professionals
- Creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working within a SEND setting or specialist provision
- Strong understanding of ASD, SEMH, and additional needs
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet EHCP targets
- Confident behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
