Plymouth SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School Support

Plymouth – Full-time, Term Time Only – £85–£95 per day

A welcoming primary school in Plymouth is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and group support to children with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD and speech & language delays.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils with EHCPs in class and during transitions
  • Adapting lesson content under teacher guidance
  • Assisting with communication strategies and social skill development
  • Monitoring and reporting pupil progress and behaviour
  • Providing a calm and positive learning environment

About you

  • Previous SEN experience (formal or informal)
  • Patient, calm, and positive attitude
