At Teaching Personnel we collaborate with SEN‑focused primary schools where pupils with EHCPs, ASD, SEMH and complex needs require consistency, emotional regulation and skilled adult support. This is not a general Teaching Assistant role. It is a carefully matched, long‑term SEN position for educators whose skills deserve to be used properly. This role is not suitable for candidates seeking daily supply.
The role
- Supporting pupils with EHCPs and complex needs on a 1:1 and small‑group basis
- Using structured, regulation‑led approaches to reduce escalation and support engagement
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Providing calm, consistent support that reduces pressure on classrooms and staff
Who we are looking for
- Experienced SEN professionals, including SEN Teaching Assistants with EHCP experience
- SEMH or ASD specialists
- Staff from specialist schools, ARPs, PRUs or complex mainstream settings
- Professionals from care, youth work or residential backgrounds with strong regulation skills
