A primary school located south of Preston in the PR4 area is seeking a committed and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 on a 1:1 basis. This is a full-time role suited to someone passionate about inclusive education and confident in supporting children with a range of additional needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent 1:1 support, ensuring the pupil can access learning and develop both academically and socially.

Role Details

  • Full time – Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:45am – 3:30pm
  • Location: PR4 (South of Preston)
  • Pay: £14.25 per hour

This role requires adaptability, initiative and the ability to implement tailored strategies to support the pupil's needs effectively.

Candidate Requirements

  • Essential Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong communication skills

  • Previous experience working 1:1

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
