How to prepare for a job interview at senploy

✨Know Your SEN Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of Autism and ADHD. Understand the specific challenges these students face and think about how you can tailor your teaching methods to meet their needs. This will show that you're not just qualified, but also genuinely invested in helping them succeed.

✨Showcase Your Creativity

Since the role requires thinking outside the box, come prepared with examples of creative lesson plans or activities you've used in the past. Think about how you can make Maths and English engaging for students who may have been out of education for a while. This will demonstrate your ability to adapt and innovate.

✨Prepare for Practical Scenarios

Expect to discuss real-life scenarios during the interview. Prepare to talk about how you would assess a student's current ability and reintroduce them to education. Having a clear plan or strategy in mind will help you stand out as a candidate who is ready to take on the challenge.

✨Ask Insightful Questions

Interviews are a two-way street, so prepare some thoughtful questions about the role and the students you'll be working with. This shows your interest and helps you gauge if the position is the right fit for you. Ask about the support systems in place for tutors and how they measure student progress.
