Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring high standards are maintained
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Strong knowledge of the subject specialism (Maths / English / Science)
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable

  • Experience with GCSE and/or A-Level teaching
  • Evidence of improving student attainment and progress
  • Ofsted 'Good' or 'Outstanding' teaching experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
