- Support pupils during lessons, group work and independent tasks
- Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation and classroom organisation
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote a calm, inclusive learning environment
- Help pupils build confidence, resilience and enthusiasm for learning
- Support with reading, phonics, literacy and numeracy activities
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- Confident supporting primary-aged pupils across different subjects
- A positive, proactive and patient approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils
- Reliable, organised, and committed to supporting pupil progress
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS
