Our client, a leading educational institution in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their talented team. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs, providing invaluable support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with lesson planning, implementing personalized learning strategies, and offering one-on-one or small-group support to ensure each student's educational and emotional needs are met.
- Monitoring progress, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with parents and carers to ensure a cohesive approach to the students' development.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Fostering positive relationships with parents and carers, and involving them in the learning process.
Qualifications
- Relevant educational or childcare qualification is desirable (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a SEN setting.

Benefits
