Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one tuition in Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEN needs, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging.
- Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
- Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students build confidence in Maths and English.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Experience working with SEN students.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
- PGCE and/or QTS is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learner needs.
