We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic Interventions Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Oldbury. This is a long-term role supporting pupils who need a little extra help to catch up and achieve their potential. Working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, you will deliver targeted intervention sessions both 1:1 and in small groups.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Support pupils with catch-up programmes in reading, writing and maths
  • Deliver structured interventions using school resources and guidance
  • Track progress and feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
  • Motivate and encourage children who need additional academic support
  • Work closely with teaching staff to plan and adapt interventions

What We Are Looking For:

  • A level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or a relevant qualification
  • Experience delivering interventions or supporting pupil progress
  • Strong grasp of the KS1/KS2 curriculum
  • Confident, positive and approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Able to build trust and rapport quickly with pupils
