Thrive Recruitment Group is recruiting a Nursery Facilities & Cleaning Assistant for a well-established early years setting in Pinhoe, Exeter. This is an important behind-the-scenes role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
You will play a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently met.
Responsibilities:- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the nursery
- Cleaning nursery rooms, communal areas, kitchens, and bathroom facilities
- Following health & safety and infection control procedures
- Supporting daily routines to ensure the setting runs smoothly
- Taking pride in creating a welcoming and professional space
- Experienced in cleaning or housekeeping (preferred but not essential)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working as part of a wider nursery team
- Committed to maintaining high standards at all times
Hours: 30 hours per week | 9:30am - 4:30pm (1-hour lunch)
