Nursery Assistant – Early Years (Southampton)

Requirements
- A positive, caring, and energetic attitude
- EYFS Level 2 or 3 qualification or higher (essential for all nurseries)
- Genuine enthusiasm for Early Years learning and development
- Ability to monitor and record children\\\’s progress
- Understanding of safeguarding practices
- Strong interest in supporting children\\\’s growth and potential
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support or working with small groups of children
- Assisting the class teacher and supporting the whole class
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Supervising children during activities, playtime, and lunch breaks
- Promoting positive behaviour and acting as a role model
- Motivating and encouraging children to reach their full potential
