Overview
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a highly motivated Nursery Assistant to join our supply team in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children aged between 6 months and 4 years old.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of daily activities, including creative play, reading, and outdoor activities
- Ensure the safety and welfare of the children at all times
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support the key worker in maintaining accurate records of children\\\’s development and progress
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other relevant meetings as required
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and child-friendly environment
Requirements
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude towards working with children and their families
- A commitment to continuing professional development
