The Role
- You will be supporting pupils with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many have experienced disrupted education, trauma, or a loss of trust in school. Your role is to help rebuild that trust and reintroduce them to learning in a way that feels safe and achievable.
- SEN TA responsibilities will include:
- Building safe, consistent relationships with pupils
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Helping pupils re-engage with learning at a pace that works for them
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
- Being a calm, steady presence on the tough days and a champion on the good ones
