Responsibilities
- Inspire and tailor teaching for individual students with SEND, delivering personalized interventions that support the aims of their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Create a positive, calm and productive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour in line with school policy.
- Safeguard and support every student’s well-being, following all safeguarding procedures and ensuring a safe setting.
- Guide children through engaging, hands-on activities that promote curiosity and a passion for learning, both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working with SEND students.
- Passion for supporting children with SEND, believing each child deserves the chance to succeed.
- Patient, empathetic and flexible – able to adapt teaching style to diverse needs.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Valid DBS check and subscription to the DBS Update Service.
- Will undertake safeguarding and Prevent Duty training offered by the agency.
- Complies with DfE statutory guidance “Keeping Children Safe in Education.”
