Pay: £475-£550 per week, depending on experience

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking recent speech and language graduates to join a large SEN school in the Cheadle area. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain experience within a school setting. The school is located in the Cheadle Hulme area and supports pupils aged between 4-19, with complex needs.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, encouraging engagement and development
  • Communicating regularly with class teachers and SLT to monitor progress
  • Assisting in preparation of engaging learning resources

Experience, Training & Qualifications

  • Recent degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (Desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting SEN, in placements

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
