Immediate start in South East London as an Attendance Officer for Key Stages 3 and 4. The Attendance Officer plays a vital role in promoting and supporting high levels of student attendance and punctuality. This position involves monitoring attendance data, identifying patterns of concern, and implementing targeted interventions to improve engagement. The role requires close collaboration with students, families, and external agencies.
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 7.45am until 4pm. Salary - £16 - £18 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Record, maintain and update data for attendance and punctuality of pupils.
- Communicate with parents and carers of pupils regarding absence, when necessary.
- Work with the wider team to effectively resolve issues that cause pupil absences.
- Contact the Local Authority when needed.
- Reach out to Primary schools of new pupils in Year 7 to track attendance records.
Requirements:
- Must have school-based experience.

- All applicants will ideally have experience of working in a school environment as an attendance officer.
