NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a SEN school based in Leeds for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist SEN provision on a full-time, permanent basis starting ASAP. This rewarding role involves supporting a primary-aged child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs within a nurturing and supportive school environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the pupil access learning, develop communication and social skills, and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for a primary-aged pupil with ASD and complex learning needs
- Assist with communication, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised support strategies
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Support with sensory and behavioural needs where required
Qualifications & Requirements
