You will be supporting pupils in Clacton on Sea and the surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality learning experiences across Key Stage 1. Duties as KS1 Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum following provided plans
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning needs
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Communicate effectively with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
- Positive and professional approach to supporting pupil learning
